Protected Abortion Access in NJ [Who Decides 2021]

Regarding parental notification for abortion - “The NJ legislature did pass such a law but the NJ Supreme Court overturned it in 2001 and it was NEVER implemented. Of course, I wish NJ had a sunset provision that removed obsolete laws from the books but since it does not, it is crucial that people who care have reliable information. Every time this issue is discussed, some adolescents are frightened away from care and do not even call to find out if they have a right to confidential care."
