LWVNJ Activist Training Program
We are excited to announce the launch of the League of Women Voters of New Jersey's new Activist Training Program! The Activist Training Program is designed to equip members and volunteers with the knowledge and skills they need to carry out dynamic organizing strategies that effectively influence public policy and the state of democracy in New Jersey.
The program will serve as a central location for skill development, policy briefings, and campaign planning for LWVNJ members and volunteers. Trainings will prepare members to take action in the organization's advocacy and educational efforts and drive campaigns across the finish line.
The Activist Training Program will empower LWVNJ members and volunteers to hone their skills in three core skill areas: direct lobbying, grassroots advocacy, and voter outreach. A listing of upcoming trainings will be announced each month. A sample of trainings to be offered this Fall include: Introduction to the Legislative Process, Meeting with Decision-Makers, Using Twitter Storms for Advocacy, Effective Campaign Communications, and more!
To learn more about the new LWVNJ Activist Training Program, register for upcoming trainings, or receive updates visit www.lwvnj.org/training. After registering for a training, you will be included in future campaign communications and calls to action.
