Charlotte Stant and the Companeros de Comida crew have some new numbers to share and some thanks to give.

In the past 7 weeks:
29,000 meals delivered
Thousands of food items donated
10 families achieved food security
Non-profit status received
First board meeting held
15 - 20 volunteers working/week

Amazing work from 16 and 17yo students from the Two Rivers Area!!!

Last week, Charlotte received a $5000 check from Patrick McGeehin and Roseann McGeehin to help run the program through the summer. Companeros de Comida also received generous donations from Sb Cooper, the Tinton Falls Rotary and all the community members who participated in the flocking fund raiser!!! Thank you for your generosity and supporting Charlotte and Risa Clay and the Companeros de Comida mission!!!!

As always, thank you to the Greater Red Bank Women's Initiative, Linares Grocery and Mexican Food, The Source at Red Bank Regional High School, Costco, RFH Key Club , Pinwheel Place and all the volunteers from Rumson Fair Haven Regional High School !

There are still 11 more weeks of summer and families on the waiting list who are in need of support. Companeros de Comida will hold a “STOCK THE SHELVES” food drive on June 19, 2020 in the parking lot behind the Fair Haven Acme. Please come and donate food (community service hours will be awarded for donations), meet the volunteers and maybe catch a tik tok dance or two!
