  • The Yellowhammer Fund partnered with us to fight back against attacks to Roe v. Wade. More than 200,000 members have spoken out so far.

  •   Tamir Rice's mother, Ms. Samaria Rice, and community groups started a petition to ensure that the cop who killed her son would not be allowed back onto the force in Cleveland. The petition has 65,000 signatures, and a supporting video below has 840,000 views on Twitter.

  • Connecticut mom Salma Sikander was granted asylum after her son's petition and amazing local organizing by groups CT Shoreline Indivisible, Unidad Latina en Accion, and Action Together CT. Here's a powerful video we put together from last year.

  • Comedian Jon Stewart and 9/11 first responder John Feal started a petition to fully fund the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund. Their petition was signed by 250,000 MoveOn members and led to a successful fundraiser for the nonprofit FealGood Foundation to further support families. The bill was signed into law in July.   • Martin Sheen and the United Farm Workers started a petition and gained support from tens of thousands of members to fight anti-worker proposals by the Trump administration.

  • Cyntoia Brown is free! More than 638,000 MoveOn members signed the petition to free her, and upon her release, we were also able to collaborate with Cyntoia to offer exclusive signed copies of her book.

  • We worked with UltraViolet to organize a petition delivery outside the U.S. Soccer headquarters in Chicago demanding equal pay for the U.S. Women's National Team.

  • The Harvard community petitioned the university and marched on the president's office in order to cut ties to the Sackler family over their role in profiting off and promoting opioid abuse.

  • More than 20,000 MoveOn members signed the United Auto Workers petition. The workers were able to negotiate a fairer contract after weeks of striking.

  • Newly founded organization Freedom Forward gained traction online and pressured the New York Public Library to cancel an event hosted as a front for Saudi's dictator.

  • The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) will have funding to study gun violence. More than 70,000 of us have signed MoveOn member Adam Miller's petition calling for this.

  • Obama Ave. in New York City became an exciting topic of conversation as a petition gained 450,000 signatures on our platform and massive international media coverage, including some love from Stephen Colbert.

  • Rainforest Action Network petitioned big banks like BlackRock and BNP in order to fight back against banks profiting from deforestation.

  • Scott Warren, arrested for offering humanitarian relief to migrants, was found not guilty. Nearly 140,000 people signed the petition his parents started with support from the organization No More Deaths.

  • Liberian refugees were granted protection after their Deferred Enforced Departure status was ending. Nearly 20,000 people signed the petition started by MoveOn member Wala Blegay.

  •   Tens of thousands of MoveOn members petitioned Walmart to stop selling guns.

  • MoveOn members signed a petition to support impeachment that was part of a massive 10 million-signature petition drive coordinated with Need to Impeach, Free Speech For People, CREDO, Democracy for America, Women's March, Courage Campaign, and By the People.

  • Wendsler Nosie Sr., a member of Apache-Stronghold, joined with the Poor People's Campaign and started a petition which received 70,000 signatures to protect an Apache holy site from a mining company.

  • 80,000 MoveOn members joined Rural Organizing in fighting against proposed cuts to food stamps.

  • Win Without War started a petition to push back against the Trump administration's fake "national emergency," and more than 130,000 of us signed on to support.

  • After news broke that budget cuts to the Special Olympics were looming, Betsy DeVos faced heat from 183,000 MoveOn members who signed Representative Mark Pocan's petition. The Trump administration quickly backed down.
