Join us for the celebration of the Holy Eucharist on the Second Sunday after Pentecost.

The Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II preaches. The Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II is the President & Senior Lecturer of Repairers of the Breach, Co-Chair of the Poor People’s Campaign: A National Call For Moral Revival; Bishop with The Fellowship of Affirming Ministries; Visiting Professor at Union Theological Seminary; Pastor of Greenleaf Christian Church, Disciples of Christ in Goldsboro, North Carolina, and the author of four books.

The Poor People's Campaign: A National Call for Moral Revival continues the work of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's final and unfinished campaign. With the Poor People's Campaign, the Episcopal Church is called into a ministry of active engagement, advocacy and support to eliminate the poverty and injustice which still severely affects our brothers and sisters. Presiding Bishop Michael Curry has joined the effort and is mobilizing the values of the “Jesus Movement" to "help this nation live out its true values, its moral decency, its human compassion, its sense of justice and right."

On June 20th, the Poor People's Campaign will hold the largest digital and social media gathering of poor and low-wealth people, moral and religious leaders, advocates, and people of conscience in this nation’s history. Register at poorpeoplescampaign.org/june2020/.
