For one evening, let’s step beyond all partisan policy divides, and simply assert that we believe basic human decency demands safe and sanitary conditions.
”We will start to congregate at 8:00 p.m. at the gazebo at the lake in Lake Como, near North Blvd and Parkway. We will light candles and have a moment of silence for the thousands of families separated and held at detention camps...toddlers, babies and adolescents being held without proper clothing, blankets and hygiene products...the (at least) seven children who have died in US custody under barbaric immigration policies ...and those who have died trying to enter this country simply looking for a better life.
